Construction Update: Harpersfield

The Proline construction crew will be continuing the fiber construction in the Town of Harpersfield through the end of 2017. Construction of the trunk and feeder fiber in the southern most portion of the town is nearing completion. Residents in the northern portions of town will begin to see activity from the Proline crew over the next couple weeks. Concurrently, MTC staff and contractors are working in the various remote buildings to install electronics and the equipment necessary to make the fiber active. The goal is to be able to begin to bring customers on-line, first along the Route 23 corridor beginning in October and then to extend to other areas off Route 23 shortly thereafter.

MTC staff will be at The Col. Harper Grange Hall, 191 Wilcox Road on Tuesday, September 19th at 7pm to answer questions regarding this project and about MTC services. The public is welcome to attend.
